  Employment Security Commission of NC
The JobLink Management Information System allows customers to register for employment and training services over the Internet at the JobLink Career Center or from another location. This system currently manages approximately 100,000 individuals per month.

Employment Security Commission of NC
Created a prototype of a new federal standard for data analysis of UI wage records. For the prototype 172 million records were analyzed to produce a 120 GB SQL Server database. Microsoft Analysis Services (OLAP) was used to transform the database from relational to multidimensional. An ASP.Net web application reads multidimensional data to produce charts, maps, and tables. A custom query engine was created to allow the user to query the OLAP data. A server-side component generates animated maps which plot data topographically, then animates this data topography over a specified period of time, allowing the user to visually see changes in the labor markert over time and geography.


Acroprint
Created a new version of the Acroprint web site using Microsoft Commerce Server, ASP.Net, and SQL Server 2000. Their existing products were moved from static html to dynamic ASP.Net reading the catalog from Commerce Server. The first phase of their web site was limited to a browse-only catalog.

Developed an expert system to perform psychological profiling analysis of police officers and emergency personnel. In conjunction with this system administrative functions were developed to manage the candidates, their cases and report generation. Technologies involved included VB 6, ASP, ADO, XML, DHTML, Microsoft Office 2000, SQL Server 2000.

Howard Perry & Walston Realtors
Redesigned and enhanced the Howard Perry & Walston web site. Home search capabilities were improved and an automated email response system was built to send users periodic updates on homes matching their defined search criteria. The system was built using Active Server Pages and Microsoft SQL Server.


Employment Security Commission of NC
Developed back end for large-scale client-server project using Microsoft SQL Server, Windows NT and Visual Basic 16 and 32 bit. Software provides information on local labor market, education, firms, job salary projects, tax revenue, population and many more items for use in Employment Security Commissions nationwide.

Law Enforcement Services, Inc.
Integrated all office functions into a single application. This application manages and analyzes psychometric testing of police officers and other emergency personnel. The system integrates with 3rd party bubble-sheet tests. The software then implements discrement function developed by LESI to prioritize the interviews of candidates for police office positions. Standardized reports are produced in addition to a simple invoice report. A calendaring application was also created to schedule appointments for police applicants.

LegaMed
Developed a database and web-based application for comparing legal requirements for medical professionals (and other licensed professions) across legal jurisdictions. This was based on a patent held by Stephen Schanz of LegaMed.

Imperial Training Services
Designed and implemented software to enhance office functions of business including class and instructor schedule, student enrollment, invoicing and billing. Imperial Training Services provides continuing education training to insurance agents. The system built generates the required reports for state officials administering the continuing education requirements of insurance agents. Integrated separate systems to bring together the entire workflow of the business together in a single application.

Developed an e-commerce system for charity and emergency management organizations.

Carolina Mudcats Baseball
Redesigned and enhanced the Carolina Mudcats web site. The major focus was on a new web presence image for the Carolina Mudcats. Foundation has been created for online ticket sales, e-commerce merchandising, and real-time audio broadcasts of games.
